And The Unintended Consequences Are
A power grid that is out of date and subject to failure. High volumes of power transmission to to meet demands across the country without regard for stress on the system. Manipilation of energy prices in California. Huge increases in Montana. All so much better than a regulated monopoly required to meet demand and maintain performance while making a modest profit right? Airlines are a better story overall with many successes from deregulation, but the industry is now on the verge of collapse.
