Setting out poison bait is actually effective...more effective than coming up with excuses to do nothing.
If the definition of 'idiot' is to be able to take a surprise attack on the homeland, forge a national will and ability and destroy the safe house of the terrorists and to completely defeat the Taliban's rule in Afghanistan. (Which many here and elsewhere said would end instead in US failure), And then in only a few months later to cobble together a coalition of the willing to end the rule and threat of one the worst tyrants of the last 100 years (again in a campaign that many here said would end in military defeat of the US) in a victory that conquered Iraq and Baghdad in a historically quick campaign, leaving us the luxury of arguing about how to win the peace, then I will choose the moron everytime.
And so will the vast majority of the people.
