Yes, it goes on. Ethnic profiling is frowned upon by the just and courteous citizenry as being archaic and downright prejudicial, but continues to be used, regardless, as our best homeland defense. Just ask the embarrassed citizens who reported bogus terrorist sightings directly after Sept 11, 2001, why the reports were made. They were profiling, and we are still cleaning house.
The war is broad and stinging, and we still know who the enemy is. They are watched for on all fronts.
No, not all the bad guys are piling into Iraq and Afghanistan, but there is a very good number of them to clean up. And who ya gonna call?
The rest of the bad guys can be found in Syria, Iran and Saudi Arabia. Should we now storm their walls as well?
