No, no -it's that similar traits and beliefs thing.

It's not about conservative or liberal - it's about shared ideas, appearances and common interests.

A bunch of giggling girls, dressed as their role model Britney Spears, will laugh at a girl dressed as Marilyn Manson and ostracize her. Likewise, a group of Marilyn Manson fans dressed in black rags and lipstick would ostracize the girl coming into their zone dressed as Britney Spears.

Liberals attack the conservatives and conservatives the liberals. Catholics attack the Protestants and vice-versa. The shared beliefs thing creates its own groups and values - anything different or opposed to them is perceived to be a THREAT and is to be uniformly attacked.

Its not that conservatives are more prone to attacking others -it is human nature to attack others who are dissimilar and hold disparate views or beliefs. This is equally true for liberals as anyone else - despite their "inclusive" rhetoric which is clearly a bunch of flim-flam. In a nutshell everyone does it - liberals are just more hypocritical than everyone else.

;-)

How was that for a nice political twist of the knife?
