I may have said that the left doesn't have the right philosophy but I don't recall impuning anyones courage. "You guys" don't think we have the right philosophy do you?
I think I have been clear that I was not completely convinced that weapons were growing on trees and I would have opposed the war if that were the only reason for going in. Based on what we were told I expected there would be weapons and I think the administration was also surprised. There is room for some criticism on our intelligence whether we find any or not but the war was still justified for other reasons. Time may prove me wrong. Who on the left is willing to say the same?
A good case can be made that Riordan would have been a tougher opponent for Davis and if you are going to approve of attack ads, why not take out the strongest guy? I wouldn't say I am certain about it but put a gun to my head and I would say it's true.
Hillary in 2004? Same gun and I say no.
