I was a Franken fan in spite of his hard left lean until recently. He seems to have come down with the Bowser syndrome.
He has been reported as showing up drunk at political functions and getting in the face of GOP guests to the extent that he has had to be ejected. I saw a clip of him at a Howard Dean fund raiser (he was the MC) repeatedly calling Brit Hume of FOX an ass hole and a f--king idiot. He was glassy eyed and either bad drunk or insane. He is scheduled as MC for several DNC events I understand.
