Well Davin, I know what you mean about feeling that our time here is wasted.
I have found myself disheartened, fed up and occasionally outraged by the opinions of some of the posters here. Has posting here raised my tolerance levels? Not one whit!
Except I feel I can sling with the best of them, not in feces, but in ideas.
Yes, the name calling is tough at times, but hey! you were the "new kid on the block" and you made sense and were passionate about it. The Big Dogs were just giving you a run for your money. It's a "guy thing". They've been here for years and years and are pretty much territorial. So, it's like being hazed to get into the club, this Zone.
I paid my dues.
But hey...they defer to Mary Anne.
She comes by with a good lecture and her yardstick, gives them all a good rapping on the top of their heads, and makes them scurry away with their tail between their legs.
So, do what you have to do, I post when I have the time. Sometimes it relaxes me, at other times it gets under my skin. Just like life.
C'est la vie.
The Zone is a compulsive habit.
It doesn't ruin my lungs, my liver, or my pocketbook and it's good clean fun.
