Have you ever heard of the NSS or the TPS or a group called NASA? The Mars Society is hardly the linchpin of Martian exploration. It is simply a vocal subset of a large portion of those interested in space who understand why Mars is key to establishing a space faring civilization. This is why so many understand how clueless you are despite not being Mars Society members as you instantly label anyone who counters your psuedoscience.
