- furhtermore, given the current fiscal climate, and other certain pressing needs (such as finding the next impactor as early as possible before it hits), that is highly unlikelly to change

- furthermore, you have not had the votes since 1965 - and very few people now confuse Mars with the Earth, except for a few of you Mars enthusiasts.

- furthermore, the number of people so deluded will fall even further after Mars Express and the Mars Exploration Rovers return their data

- As for Mars being the key to a space faring society, we already are a space faring society: all of us, everyone of us, is riding on spacehip Earth. The key to the future development of space is making sure that that spaceship stays intact.
