The criticism of Rush was right on. That was precisely how he would react to any addiction confession, made in THOSE TERMS, from any top politician from the left.
I saw his statement, the 'I am responsible part' was sort of lost in the littany of who-and-what-else-can-I-drag-in-to-blame. It was about as genuine as the Clinton 'I did not have ...', or the Scwarzenegger 'I have been on many rowdy ...' comments.
Ultimately everyhing in life is a choice, if you allow that free-will exists. This is an inescapable metaphysical truth.
I think it is beyond belief that you took a valid criticism of this 'pillar' of the rights agenda, and made it into an argument about Clinton. At what point is everything not Clintons fault, or about Clinton, or compare to Clinton?
Rush is stewing in the result of his own choices. If he wanted or deserved more forgiveness, he should have found some to give over the years.
