I doubt the man was sentient in 1988. Remember the Gipper speach!? I think that was 88 or 89. Anybody who lapses into a story from his acting days of 40 years before, mixes it with a war story and then claims it to be gods-honest-truth... When all of it is easily checkable by any reporters... Well... Lets just say it gives me at least reason to doubt sentience.
Plus the fact that the president of the united states and his staff, whose day is scheduled down to the hour, suddenly 'could not recall' when asked about blatantly illegal activities.
I know you think he's god, Tom, but I've know golden retrievers who were smarter and more trustworthy, AND could remember where they buried their bones.
