Your willful ignorance is showing, Raoul.
And for the moment, the US army can't stop them.
Reports say terror groups are being broken up, captured and killed in Iraq, but they are ill-represented by our own entrenched media. Why? Have they realized that what they report might mean their lives?
As it is, known soft targets within Iraq that refuse U.S. support expect to be hit. That’s pure logic. Were I there, I would suggest using the ignorant groups, such as the Red Cross and U.N., as bait for future captures.
And the only thing Iraq really needs now is a little U.S. invention called “Neighborhood Watch†-- with a serious twist. You see, it is up to Iraqis to secure Iraq, not the U.S., and it’s time they figured that out.
Speaking of which, the threat of terror against the U.S. mainland has been reported to the public, and repeated several times since 9/11, and yet has yet to have materialized. I’d call that a stop.
Cheers,
Dan
