EvenNPR reported today that Iraqis are enlisting, *since the attacks increased* in larger numbers in the Iraqi police to stop the Iraqi and internaitonal terrorists.
They know what is at stake and are willing to fight it.
They in fact are insisting to the US occupation forces for a larger role in this fight.
Truly we may not have won the peace yet, but inspite of the NYT, BBC, and DNC we will win it.
The terrorists are having their Tet Offensive, but they have so far failed to disturb Walter Cronkite's sleep or demoralize LBJ. Walter Cronkite, as it were, has been whining about this war from the start, and LBJ ain't in office.
Your point about the poor decision making of the NGOs is a very good point.
We will win.
