Venus being almost as big as Earth and much closer to the Sun, probably had much better conditions more than 3 billion years ago.
Maybe it's there fossils could be found.
But all of it could have vanished when the whole surface was transformed.
We might have to dig very very deep to find anything.....
I wonder why it has practically no magnetic field.
