I kind of regret my post, after Tom pointed out that he's brought up the subject before; and for missing the fact that Fox was reporting the story secondhand. I subsequently read an MSNBC article that also quoted the same primary source.
I'm not sure Don's posts fall into the category of the kind of behavior I've been worried about. My concern has been about the relationship between posters here, the way people address each other and make ad homineum attacks on each other. I can see that he's annoying the right, but he's doing it through quoting news reports--his own words make up a very small proportion of the total, and he's unfailingly polite. How many people, even on the Right, refer to "Mr. Bush"?
Dan Spires's participation here is also based primarily on posting large numbers of excerpted articles and links, but since his tend to be complimentary of "Mr. Bush", you don't object. If I were to censure Don, I'd have to censure Dan. Would that be fair?
In the grand scheme of things, I'd rather see people posting external material in an attempt to provoke debate, than see them attacking each other personally.
