I'm beginning to think my posts are getting transcribed into Sanskrit...

Conservatives aren't ignoring Don. Don isn't reading my posts.

When I originally pointed this article out, with appropriate caveats, AND the DOD response, it should have been clear that the memo was leaked to the Weekly Standard. Fox News simply reprinted the story from the Standard.

What I find funny about all this is that it almost seems like the Bush administration, the CIA, and the DOD are running like crazy away from any possible evidence of this kind of linkage. If Bush was the dumb bastard everyone says he is, you'd think he'd be trumpeting this stuff from the rafters.

The fifty points were apparently abstracts of reports that could be requested by the committee. What will be interesting is what conclusions will be drawn from the full reports, assuming the committee reads them.

That being said, I agree that there are too damn many "top secret" documents making it into the papers lately. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing seems to depend on whose ox is getting gored. I seem to remember some indignation from the Left that the White House refused to release secret documents into the public domain.
