Wave Science for Betsy (and anyone else interested)

Hi Betsy,

For starters one needs to know all about waves and how they interface. Here is a series of links one can learn a lot from. While they are discussing sound waves, most principles here are still applicable and very important, and later we can get into the nuances of quantum wave interactions:

Natural or Fundamental Frequency

This is a good starting point because here you will learn that all things have a fundamental frequency. And that fundamental frequency is always varying a little bit. Our bodies have a series of fundamental frequencies including one which our consciousness resides with too!

Wave relationships and interference

Here we learn that all waves act upon one another and either reinforce or dissipate eachother. As regards to the Padre's house, his religious frequencies and actions will have no effect on you if you are not in harmonic affiliation. In laymans' terms - if you're religious - they would influence you more. If not, they won't have much of an effect. There are a whole lot of issues that come into play.

Here is an animation of 2-pt interference

This illustrates how two waves in a cyclic manner interface and interfere with eachother. Now use your imagination and at all the many points where these two waves interface - imagine another emanation similar to the first but weaker (these are another whole set of subharmonic interferences) As you can see these waves interfere with eachother and influence eachother. Consciousness occurs in such a manner that many thoughts and their associated waveforms as established by synapse electrical pulses are also overlapping and interfering - and any one of those new interference points will be where we focus our consciousness on! As you can see thought is not entirely random - but we have a given number of possible reactions based upon all these wave interferences - even if they are almost infinite in number. The consciousneess can focus upon any one of these sub-interference points...and on and on like a wild ride!

Nodes and anti-nodes

Here you will learn about the points of standing waves (caused by wave interference) that move the most or move the least. To us that means that the nodes would be the stable things in our life that change very little even when we interface with new environments or new things. Anti-nodes would be the big upheavals and changes that seem to occur. If one applies nodes and anti-nodes to thoughts, nodes would be familiar thought processes and anti-nodes would be those thoughts which are divergant from our normal and more familiar thought processes. Reading this post likely represents an anti-node for most of the posters here. ;-)

These concepts if understood fully will already drastically change the way you look at the world. Most folks simply just don't think about things in a wave manner. (Heck, most people don't think about things in an atomic manner!) Yet when we apply these wave principles to our thinking processes and the subatomic world - things suddenly make so much more sense.

I will leave it at this for now, because this is enough to take in. First one has to really understand wave forms and then one can start getting into the more advanced field interactions and how our entire material universe is really an infinite sea of wave forms interacting!

Have fun Betsy!

PS
Don't let Tom discourage you. This isn't that hard once you immerse yourself for an hour or two. And contrary to popular belief - you wont regret it.

This isn't just for Betsy by the way - I'm sure most folks here (Tom included) could likely benefit from a refresher course on wave interactions. Waves are not just something I conjured up in my imagination you know! The difference between me and other scientists is very simple - I know where to apply these scientific principles. Extrapolation does my work for me. Suddenly the universe and it's mysteries are just a little less mysterious. Human interaction - all interaction - is more easily understood when looked at scientifically instead of emotionally.

Now how many here (raise your hands) expected some Hindu mumbo jumbo and eastern philosophy links? ;-)
