What happened was reality and precisely what was expected at this stage of development. It's a great concept to offer a prize and sit back and see the innovations that work best. Build some, drive some, rebuild, drive some more. DARPA will get their autonomous robotic vehicle outa this competition this decade.

Gosh, what a surprise. I noticed no entry from the king of robotic vision, Dr Daniel Isakov, EPG's alleged big buddy.
