Isn't that another one of Al Queda's demands as well?

(Actually it's a bad historical analogy, I know. Back in those days it was the Muslims who were the enlightened free-thinkers with advanced technology and funny ideas about things like social tolerance. 11th century Islamic scholars would be horrified at the current state of Islam and especially at a lunatic such as Osama bin Laden pretending to be the leader)
