I don't think anyone is contesting that it means pretty much what you say it means (at least I'm not). The issue here is that LarryJ is throwing around the term 'liar' when he is obviously incorrect, and then is trying to defend that by quibbling over semantic differences between meanings so small you couldn't slide the valve gaping shim of a kawasaki sportbike between them.
