Larry did not call Bowser a liar based on B's interpretatgion of what "end to major hostilities", Larry called B a liar for using the term "end to major hostilities". Now this is what Fleisher said that was the point of the May-1st speech, and it is also what the sources on whitehouse.gov say. You are just being a dishonest jerk trying to blindly defend people who are in your 2-dimensional world view the "good guys" from (as your buddy Ed drunkenly said:) the "Enemy".

Bowser never said "bush said the words", however the intent is clear that the Admin was announcing the end to major hostilities/major combat operations, unless the press secretary and numereous subsequent press releases are simply disconnected fabrications.

LarryJ was calling Bowser a liar on the basis that bush never said those exact words in that order. Which is a dishonest clintonian quibble.
