Fallujah

I've read a number of opinions from people I respect that think we should make some sort of example out of Fallujah. Details vary widely, but just doing nothing, or "treading lightly" is not seen as a workable solution.

Some have made a good case that the sudden increase in violence in Iraq may be due to the perceived weakness in the face of the Fallujah atrocity.

What do you think?
