A reminder:
The public buses in Israel are used by uniformed military personnel to get around. So in those cases, there are indeed military targets: soldiers.
OK, they are potentially carrying solders, they aren't garanteed that at any moment there will be a soldier there, but theres the potential. And you are right, because every innocent man and woman have the potential to have a child that will be a solder, and every child has the potential of being one some day (aren't all israeli men required to do military service?). Just the same as the WTC was a valid military target as some of the poeple working there were probably in the reserves or every military airplane is a potential target because every time I fly I find myself surrounded by military folk who are just using the aircraft.
was your meanning that this is how the palestinians see things?
This doesn't justify the slaughter of other riders, civilians who happen to be on the bus. What would you wager that the families of dead Palestinian bystanders, such as the children killed on the way to school, feel the same about Israeli military actions that result in the deaths of their relatives?
Violence breeds more violence.
And non-violence in the face of that violence breeds continued violence as well. What can ya do?
