Just for the record

Yes I understood you in the original post when you said "Even to the point of not doing things that are perfectly on the-up-and-up but might appear otherwise in the news"

BTW I'm not a Republican or Democrat and I could really give a damn whether you hold anything against me or not. I think my post have been direct but not condescending towards you or anyone else, so if you must take a pot shot at me, fire away.

Whether Bush & Co. care about how their actions are perceived in the media or by Americans, for me, is hard to say. I'm seen them be "in your face" about some matters and very calculated on others.

Whether your President, a CEO, or Joe Schmo off the street, if you make a conscious decision to do something that may appear questionable, but doesn't violate the law, then do it. But be prepared for the possibilty of a backlash. Life is a series of decisions everyday, if you stop and thought about how every decision you made appeared, you'd get squat done.

Again just my opinion. If its similiar to how the Democrats or Republicans feel, well can't help that.

Jeff
