<i.Are you saying that SS money is not used to fund other than SS?
If SS money is part of the general fund, Bush has taken nothing out of the SS fund. There is no SS fund. There is a general fund and an obligation to SS benificiaries. As long as the obligation is met nothing has been taken from anyone
Or are you saying that Bush has no part in this practice?
Of course not
Side note: you used the term "borrowed". Can you explain the plan to pay off the "loan" from the SS fund?
Oh come now Alcaray, there is no loan from SS. The loan is from various sources including USSB and other government securities. We repay the loan in the same way we repaid our debt when it was the Republican shrieking that it could never be repaid.
To say that Bush is dipping into SS funds is one of those intellectual lies some like to go on about. He is no more taking from SS than he is from Defense or any other budget item.
