Just heard an interview with Kerry where he said that Bush is taking money out of Social Security to offset the deficit.

That is a lie. Case closed, Nuff said, Kerry is a liar. If he will lie about that he will lie about anything.

Seems simple enough to me. Only the true believers could see it otherwise.

The unified budget structure adopted in '69 combining the General Fund and Trust Funds into one "bottom line" is no longer in effect? Bush's record federal deficits wouldn't be higher if the money people are dunned for Social Security went into a lockbox? Gotta credible source for that?

I didn't think so.
