What we did was regrettable but forgivable, because it was us, and we were very young, and things were "simpler". What they are doing is incomprehensible and evil, because we are in the authority chair now.

Someone who nukes a mosque to make a point should be prepared for reprisals. In-country. For about 500 years, if we last that long.
I speak as a member of an ethnic group that has held a grudge for 500 years, has effectively communicated that grudge to descendants who never lived in the ancestral homeland, and is only now beginning to think of getting over it. It can be done. It has been done. If we don't extend our attention span as a nation beyond its current half-an-hour span, it will be done to us.
