every employee that is fired for incompetence is a direct responsibility of the CEO and the CEO should fall on his sword. By that logic, the buck should stop with the electorate that allowed this administration to come to power and don't bother telling us that you didn't vote for them. The electorate is a body. Maybe we should all commit mass suicide. It doesn't work that way and you know it.
I repeat, there are events that result in the resignation of top officials and this will or will not be one of them. Do you think Nixon would have resigned if there had been no tape tying him directly to a cover-up? When all the hysteria has died down this matter will be put to rest for many of us (that includes me). Is that partisan or must I prejudge the outcome. Hell, why investigate any further, the facts are obvious.
Those that are convinced they already know all the facts will continue to whine about it regardless of how rigorously the investigation is conducted if it doesn't validate their beliefs.
