You arrogantly assume that if a tape of Nixon's complicity did not exist that he would still have been guilty. It never entered your mind that lack of a tape might mean that the conversation never occurred and he might have been innocent of a cover-up.

When the evidence was in I was a glad as anyone to see Nixon go down and it will be the same for anyone in this administration. Your inferences regarding my morality can easily be turned against you for your willingness to convict someone without a trial.

It was fine in your mind to calm down and examine the Columbia incident properly but you seem all too anxious to put nooses around the necks of your political enemies. Do you believe in due process at all?

All but the most rabid have stopped short of extending guilt to Bush. You know that failing to keep the emotional circus rolling leaves you nothing to do but fade back into the woodwork and wait for November. Six long months away.

I will celebrate the choice of the American people regardless of who is elected because they usually make the right choice and the loser usually deserves to lose. Those who can't accept the will of the people can eat cake.

Bush has mucked up Iraq in the last 6 months and he may justifiably pay the price but it does not turn on this issue alone and for all it's emotional appeal it is not the most important issue.
