Logic?

every employee that is fired for incompetence is a direct responsibility of the CEO and the CEO should fall on his sword. By that logic, the buck should stop with the electorate that allowed this administration to come to power and don't bother telling us that you didn't vote for them. The electorate is a body. Maybe we should all commit mass suicide. It doesn't work that way and you know it.

Wow, that's pretty out-there, Frank. Do you really think that a President can't be held accountable for his actions because he was elected? What? I was always taught that the President is accountable to the people precisely because we elected him. Were you taught the opposite?

Seems to me that the concrete evidence that I was taught correctly is the fact that the Founders wrote into the Constitution two ways that we can hold a President accountable: Impeachment, and standing for election after four years. We're having this argument because the window-of-opportunity for the second method is coming up in November.

Are we responsibile for George Bush even if we didn't vote for him? Yep, that's the nature of citizenship. I'm ashamed of George W. Bush, and it's no excuse that I didn't vote for him. I have a duty to oppose his reelection because I understand that I share responsibility for America.

Do you think Nixon would have resigned if there had been no tape tying him directly to a cover-up?

Ah, that sheds a little light on how you think. You figure Bush isn't actually responsible for the things he can successfully cover up. Of course.

When all the hysteria has died down this matter will be put to rest

Hysteria? That's...uh, hysterical. You really think the world is just having a case of the vapors over the despicable acts committed at Abu Ghraib on Bush's watch? You think that after a little time passes we'll all just calm down, and in hindsight torture and abuse and murder won't seem so bad? Frank, I gotta wonder about your standards of morality. Do you genuinely not understand what all this fuss is about? Do you think what happened at Abu Ghraib is just peachy-keen?
