Cassini's launch window was driven by celestial mechanics. Delay could have meant project cancellation. The Cassini RTG safey issues were studied to death. I know the guys who did the studies and have copies of their compendious reports. There was no public danger. The people opposing Cassini were a gaggle of watermellon greens and educated prostitutes. Kerry opted to ignore the well considered professional opinions of NASA's finest engineers and listened instead to whores and fools.
Kerry has no credibility! Kerry will kill the Space Program.
