>"His vision of a free Middle East is a grand vision. If successful, the Middle East will no longer be a breading ground for terrorists."
We went into Iraq not for Bush's grand vision of a democracy in Iraq, but for the thousands of tons of WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION that were threatening our very shores. NOT for democracy!
Thousands of deaths, 200 billion dollars, and a beleagured, overwrought, over-spent American military was worth..... WHAT??
Bush's "grand vision"??
Can't you see they're fighting us tooth and nail over there and that it will never END? That for every innocent Iraqi tortutred or killed by US forces comes with a generation of up and coming terrorists to haunt us??
<"Bush does care about his country. His actions after 9/11 confirm that. He wants to make sure it never happens again."
Then he shouldn't have cut funding for Homeland Security, the firemen, the first responders, the military, the veterans, healthcare, education, etc...ad nauseum........
