Bush lying, or a meaningful connection between al-Qaeda and Iraq?

Heck, Bush wouldn't have had the slightest idea as to this "connection" when he was lying. This only came later, and is the best they can do to try to establish one.

So, no matter what, Bush was lying.

Now, is there a connection? Is this thin thread a reason to go to war, to see $200 billion spent, is this name worth 840 American dead? (What were the evil fruits of this "connection"?)

Or is this is a common name and no connection?

Or did al-Qaeda inflitrate the fedayeen?

No matter what, Bush lied, and this is not a "connection".

Unless you're a True Believer, hanging on any thread the administration throws, calling it a lifeline.
