Following yours, If Afghanistan takes the place of Japan, It might follow for China for be invaded if China appeared to be part of the Japanese problem. Cheering for the Japanese and sending money to the families of kamikaze pilots might result in such an invasion.

Of course you could rightfully point out that there were no Afghans on the planes either.
