With enough "slender threads" you can build a space elevator.

Bush lied: You and many others perceive that but he is an accused liar not a convicted liar. If he were not a public/political figure you might lose a slander suit by calling him a liar under similar circumstances. Certain past political figures have been convicted of lying but LBJ, Reagan and Bush are not in that group.

I have never believed there was a direct connection between Iraq and 9-11 and I have never heard Bush say there was.
