First, it looks like too many in the US haven't understood that the terrorists belong to a network that is international and that no country (except Afghanistan) can be singled out for its responsability in 9/11.
Second, Saddam did compensate the families of the Palestinians who blew themselves up in Israel. But it has again nothing to do with 9/11, unless Israel is the 51st state in the US, and given the amount of money it gets from US (I'm almost certain it gets more money than several states within the US), I wouldn't be surprised many think so.
