Maybe church and state shouldn't be the only things we keep separated.

We should have the same desire for separation of business and state. Regulation of business by government will inevidably lead to corporations seeking to manipulate those writing the regulations. If you want business out of the affairs of government, try getting government out of the boardrooms.
