Infantile stereotypes

After all the absolutely assinine characterizations of liberals that you have engaged in, you have no standing whatsoever to call me infantile.

An example of this:
If anything, it is the Left in this country that is firmly convinced of the inferiority of entire classes or races, convinced that there is no hope for them to advance themselves without the patronage of better and wiser people than themselves.

You've been listening to that lie be repeated for so long that now you believe it's true.

Since when is the recognition of racial discrimination as a barrier to achievement indication that one believes entire races are inferior? Since when is advocating for people to have the tools for advancement an indicator that one believes they can't advance? Since when is "equal treatment under the law" a hallmark of patronage?

You seem to think that you're the only one who ever had to work for a living. Well, buddy, I worked my way through college too. I've clerked and washed dishes, I've been a housekeeper and provided in-home child care for room & board and a lot less than minimum wage. I too shared bathrooms and kitchens with a bunch of near-strangers, in a series of shared apartments, one of which I had to move out of suddenly when one of the girls started dating a guy who killed someone in a barfight. I'm willing to bet that you never got felt up by customers while waiting tables to pay the rent on your studio apartment, the way I did for the rent on mine. And when I couldn't afford something, I didn't use credit, except for tuition and textbooks: I did without. Climb down off your cross. I'll lend you the pliers to pull the nails out.

You seem to think that, when I mentioned radcon mouthpieces, I was talking about you. You are only a consumer and recycler of their stuff. I was talking about the people who make these policies for the people they are truly intended to benefit: their benefactors.

I would be happy with smaller government if what was left was vigorously enforcing anti-fraud laws instead of trying to see how much farther the Bill of Rights could be eroded.

Once it has been not only accepted, but considered moral, for the needs of one person to give them the right to fulfill their needs by forcing another person to do it, there is no real endpoint except an environment where predation is the norm.

We're already there, only it's not the savage poor who are mugging the rich. They haven't got time. It's the savage rich -- and I don't mean you, I mean the rich -- who are defrauding retirees and pushing wage-earners farther into the hole so that those holding stock options don't have to take too much of a loss.

And what's all this nonsense about estate taxes? How do you earn inherited money? By outliving your parents? This is considered meaningful work now?? This is the definition of the discipline of the free market and the self-made man? Come on.

I hope to God you all live long enough to live in a nation where there is nothing to be had, no medicine, no food, no shelter, save by the gracious benevolence of your lords in Washington. I know there are more than a few people in Washington looking forward to it.

Some people already live there. And the people in Washington don't have to look forward to it, because they're presiding over it.

Some correction was bound to occur in the welfare bureaucracy, but the balance has gone too far in the other direction. There is still welfare, but it's being given to the lobbyists and their masters, by the very people who your radcon heroes claim are here to save the free market. If it keeps getting looted, the market won't be free anymore.
