Mary Anne seems to implictly believe what she reads in the "standard" main-stream media
You apparently don't know how to read for content. What I said, repeatedly (and I'll speak slowly so you can follow me):
People Can Say Anything On The Internet Without Accountability.
At least in the real world you can follow people around and establish that they were where they said they were, because you know who the hell they are. If I am reporting "from Chicago", and someone saw me in Sarasota within the hour, obviously something is amiss in my report. On the Net, some people understand this and go to the trouble to establish who they are to enhance their credibility.
I know there are liars in print, and on radio, and on television. The point is, just because someone has a blog, that doesn't make him a beacon of truth either. Different doesn't mean better. It means different.
It's easier to accept that he is on the level if you can do as can be done with the other media people, that is, establish they at least are who they say they are.
... that *already* gives you information as to her level of understanding of Life
Life? Oh! you mean the game by the Milton Bradley Company? [batting eyes] Or maybe you mean the cereal...
You have your own perception of what I know and my level of understanding of anything, which is what you can get from the internet, which is only what I allow you to see amplified in the echo chamber of your own head.
You got nothin'.
... *I* still respect you, even if you play at seisuns rather than ceilidhs !
And maybe you'll even get to date him one day...
