When you don't have anything of substance to say, attack the speaker.

You have nooooo idea who I am.

Which again goes to my main point, which has gone whizzing by several of you at light-speed.

In Little Observer World, I suppose "humour" is equivalent to reading an ignorant attack on one's profession and saying, "Oh, ho ho, how funny!" without defending one's life work. Funny how the sharp reply is only humourous if it supports people whose positions you like, isn't it? Otherwise, the person is open to all kinds of adjectives. Such as:

sarcastic
I give what I get. You may notice that I respond differently to people who don't approach me with dart-guns.

humourless
Did that one.

touchy
Gee, a bunch of people come here out of nowhere and call me names because I have had the temerity to hold their hero to a common standard, in a discussion that I was having with someone who routinely cites him as a source of facts and not always opinion. And I have the nerve to reply to the name-calling! What's the matter? Not used to back-talk?

over sensitive
See above: means the same.

and way too sceptical for her own good
I see. Skepticism is only good when it applies to "Them", those We find Untrustworthy. Skepticism toward the traditional media is a founding principle of opinion blogging. But when skepticism is applied to "Us", it's bad.

I'm glad we got that straight.
