It's easier to maintain loyalty to dogma if one doesn't introduce doubt.

That belongs on the CE Board, too. -grin-

Thanks for reminding me that not all homeschooling is done for religious reasons. It has become a stereotype, at least in my own mind...

But you have to admit, the dichotomy you illustrate so well in the differing reasons for homeschooling, does bring an extra meaning to the phrase:
