How do you decide what is right and what is wrong? Everybody does it all day, every day. And no two people will agree on everything. You want to live in a country ruled by law rather than man? Fine, but somebody has to define what the law is - and they certainly will be "forcing their beliefs" on those who would define the laws otherwise.
You, Tom, always define "the other guy's beliefs" as being forced on you. But you see your own views as right, so it does not fall under the same definition.
What about Christianity and Western civilization? Should we promote them? What about gay marriage? What a about popular or unpopular wars? Trade restrictions? Farms subsidies? Driving privilages? Water rights? Use of national parks? Private property?
If you want to call establishing law that defines what you may and may not do in society as "collectivism", then you and yours are just as guilty of it as anyone.

Impossible: "A mature human condition needs to get past all versions of philosophical collectivism."
