Ok, let's start with the biggest states...

like California and New York. We'll see how well the idea will fly when the biggest, most solidly Democrat states go for the idea. I'm sure they'll jump all over this.

Yeah, right.

Instead, we have a wealthy California Democrat trying to pick off Republican leaning states like Colorado one by one. That alone makes me cynical about the concept. It's the old Soviet Doctrine once again: "What's mine is mine. What's yours is negotiable."
