However, we look at the same map and both think our interpretation is reinforced.
I've been hearing that 80-90% of the country is violence free - the map supports that, in area at least.
However, in a country of 24million, and just going by the populations of top 10 list there, I count almost 50% of the population lives in areas subject to attacks.
Most of the south-east free? sure, except for the biggest city there.
Most of the north east? I'll give you 50-50.
Bear in mind that those dots are only for last 30 days. Would be interesting to see previous month ( no activity in Basra?) and next month.
