That was his biggest flip-flop/Kerry Contortion of the night: Kerry says Bush was wrong to invade Iraq without first building a massive coalition (at least one up to Kerry's standards) but then says that a President can and should at times take pre-emtive action.
Well what happens when you can't find a coalition to go along with your pre-emptive action? Do you then back down and let the coalition dictate the way you defend the USA?
Kerry's Contortions were still present, but they were well hidden.

The above took my attention, as well as Kerry's comments on Korea. Bush responded well there alluding that a kind and gentle approach to diplomacy doesn't always work.
I'm also glad that Bush brought up the coming talks of the Arab states, regarding Iraq, that will take place in Japan.
Speaking of hidden contortions. Kerry, including last night, seems to have things hidden up his sleeve. Sorry, but he's always given me that impression.
