You nailed Kerry's debate strategy.
Attack Bush's policies, say Kerry would do better, offer no policies of your own.
Bush was unable to take Kerry off that message.
It played well for Kerry in the debate, but I don't think it will hold water once the public learns that there isn't any substance there.
And the public is often smarter than the news media who reports on these debates give them credit for.
