I wasn't as successful in ignoring it as I had hoped -- I'm not the only one who lives here, and I heard the first half-hour while eating dinner in the kitchen.

"It's hard work" seemed to be the fallback of the night, for one side.

For the rest of it, I put a CD in my computer and headphones on with the volume up LOUD. My guess is, the subsequent hour went no differently than the first 30 minutes.
