Most middle east scholars agree with this assessment. The point you fail to note is Bush doesn't agree with the assessment. He isn't living within a real world. It is the reality of the peoples of Iraq it's neighbors and the nature of greed and the geographic location of the wealth in the current nation that civil war is inevitable. When Britain made this country up it did so knowing civil war was bound to happen. This will not make the middle east a haven for peace or democracy. It will surely cause an armageddon of sorts.
