There's a couple of assumptions you and others seem to be making about my position
First, that all I'll accept is a total ban on gun ownership. This isn't correct. What I want to see is a dialog that doesn't begin with "there's nothing we can do." I fully realize that it also can't begin with "once all the guns are gone..."
Secondly, that I demand immediate action. I've made no such demand.
