"We will lose a city to terrorism if Kerry wins." IMHO, this simple prediction is what drives this election. It is this same simple prediction that forces me (a life long registered Democrat and Reagan hater) to vote for G.W. Bush.
People seem to have forgetten that we are at war with the Islamic Fascists. The World Trade buildings were estimated to have had approximately 25,000 people in them when the first airplane struck. We only lost 3030 (September 11 attack total) because there was an orderly evacuation from the World Trade buildings and due to the courage of the heros on United Airlines Flight 93.
We can stick our heads in the sand, ignore the problem and then lose thousand/million(s) more American civilians in the next terrorist outrage. Why? We already know the bad guys want us dead and will not negotiate. The lessons of 911 do not need to be repeated.
Bush has shown through his actions that he understands that 911 was an "Act of War". This is why I'm voting for Bush.
